Another great Salt + Sand purchase: this chiffon duster! During our personal shopping appointment, I admired it on Jasmine and knew I needed to add one to my closet. I love that it’s semi-sheer and lightweight, making it a perfect third piece for our warm weather. Here, in Hawaii, I think most women shy away from any type of trench coat or long jacket not just for the obvious reason of climate, but also because if they were to wear something that even remotely looked mainland or polar-vortex-appropriate, they would feel silly. I’d like to take a stand and say that we can wear long drapey jackets in lightweight or sheer fabrics that don’t cause us to overheat without feeling ridiculous. With recent rainy and windy weather, why not try something different to effortlessly pull together your look? Here are some lightweight, chic, and Spring-ready third pieces I’m currently crushing on:

Oh, one last tidbit: I’m also very happy with Pant Zola from Fighting Eel’s newest collection! Uber comfy and cropped to show off a little ankle, I know I’ll be making use of this piece. Totally contemplating getting the Blue Stripe version, too…
