Double Crossed

Bamboo Sky top, necklace, & bandeau | Rag & Bone skinnies (similar here & here) | Alexander Wang bag | Jeffrey Campbell wedges (really old) | Michael Kors watch | F21 sunnies

The above is what I wore for the 4th of July. I was determined to wear this fun top from B. Sky, but didn’t have a navy bandeau on hand and felt like wearing my favorite white skinnies. Since I like how turquoise, teal, and shades of aqua blue pop with red, I decided that adding my necklace and bandeau of nearly the same color worked best. I know, not in-your-face patriotic but it worked for me! Didn’t do much other than work. Ate at one of my favorite Japanese restaurants, Hinone Mizunone, with family, randomly checked out T.J. Maxx, and then watched the fireworks on T.V. from home. I suppose my family’s not big on the whole rushing-to-the-beach-and-camping-out-and-pushing-through-masses-of-people thing, so we had a quiet evening. For me, it was perfect because I enjoy being a homebody. I’m smiling as I type this because I have been told that I don’t seem like the homebody type…
Anywho, hope you all had fun for your 4th of July holiday, whether you stayed at home like me, or braved the crowds to watch fireworks with your friends/family.
P.S. I’ve recently decided that I like the song below, by Train, despite its unusual beginning.

50 Ways To Say Goodbye
