A few weeks ago, my gorgeous friend, Summer, of Summer Style Hawaii invited me to accompany her to a fun blogger and stylist event at Tiffany & Co. in Waikiki. Beforehand, all I knew was that the theme was going to be 1920’s glamour. As I searched my closet for anything remotely related to 1920’s fashion, I was happy to rediscover a fringe kimono-like cardigan I had purchase from H&M last year. I threw it over one of my trusty LBD’s by Indah and borrowed my grandma’s pearl necklace. On my way out the door, I grabbed a pretty marquise rhinestone headband from Bamboo Sky for a little sparkle.

Not knowing what to expect, when we got there, I was pleasantly surprised! While enjoying champagne and yummy Tiffany box petit fours, we were all encouraged to try on the beautiful pieces from the Ziegfeld Collection, based on iconic Tiffany pieces from the 1920’s, like the jewelry in Baz Luhmann’s The Great Gatsby. Amongst the dazzling pearls, I fell in lust with the brilliant art deco diamond pieces. My top three favorites were undoubtedly the two gemstone rings and the simple, yet stunning diamond tennis bracelet. Having so much fun at this event just goes to show you that playing dress up never gets old! And, when it comes to Tiffany & Co., who would really say no? ;)

A few thank yous: Summer for inviting me, and the PacRim Marketing team & Tiffany & Co. management for hosting such a fun event! I’d also like to thank the girls of Maleana Makeup & Hair Styling for the elegant up-do!
